Vehicle mounted counter drone: it goes where you go
Light weight and compactness are a design constraint in Dron Kalkanı, not a convenience. Carrying no radar and needing no separate computer cabinet is what lets the system integrate onto four different families of platform.
A turret that covers the vehicle
Integrated onto commercial and tactical ground vehicles. The turret scans its own sector while the crew stays under cover or inside the vehicle — removing the known weakness of shotgun-based counter-drone defence: no gunner has to stand exposed.
Autonomous turret, autonomous platform
On unmanned ground vehicles the operator link is not always reliable. An air defence turret that needs no human intervention once activated is the natural complement to these platforms.
Decisions independent of the link
Detection and engagement decisions are produced on the turret; a lost link does not stop the defence.
No extra cabinet
Processing sits on the turret; the UGV’s limited internal volume is not taken up.
Low power draw
Passive detection and embedded processors do not strain the platform’s energy budget.

Uninterrupted watch
Shifts, fatigue and lapses in attention drop out of the equation.
Mains power
In a fixed installation power comes from the site’s own supply.
Multi-turret configuration
At large sites several turrets can be positioned with different engagement areas.
Added to the architecture
Where a site already has radar or jammers, Dron Kalkanı completes the layer beneath them.
Protection that fixes to the deck
Unlike naval vessels, commercial fleets carry no air defence system. Putting a gun or missile system on a bulk carrier’s deck is possible neither in cost nor in regulation.

No separate power infrastructure is required.

Portable protection needing no permanent modification; removable after the voyage.
No qualified crew
The crew does not need weapons training.
